Barcelona to demand £30m for stopper
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is still to decide where his future lies, despite reports he has opted to join Manchester City over Liverpool.
That is according to Squawka, who also say the Catalans will demand £30million for the shot stopper's signature.
The German is keen to move from the Nou Camp at the end of the season having grown frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunities.
City have moved into pole position to secure his services, but Ter Stegen is reportedly seeking assurances he will be first choice ahead of current incumbent Joe Hart.
Liverpool have received a boost in their reported hunt of Cologne defender Jonas Hector.
The German side's head coach Peter Stoger has admitted the 25-year-old could leave in the summer amid rumours the Reds are monitoring the player's situation.
"I don’t have to talk about what may happen in the summer," Stoger told German magazine Kicker.
"But if somebody should offer us a three-figure million sum, we’d probably give in. If a two-figure million sum is offered, we’d consider it. And if Jonas Hector says that he doesn’t want to stay here, we’d have to face up to it."
