Liverpool step up interest in 'the next Robert Lewandowski'
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has asked scouts for the lowdown on Poland starlet Dawid Kownacki.
The 19-year-old striker, who has been likened to Robert Lewandowski, is currently starring for Lech Poznan but has a number of Bundesliga clubs on his tail.
Lewandowski also started his career at the Polish League club before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2010, reports the Sunday People.
Kownacki has netted seven times in 22 games for Poznan so far this season.
He made his first-team debut aged just 16, and has gone on to make a total of 65 appearances for the club, scoring 13 times.
