Liverpool have joined the race for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, according to reports.

Jürgen Klopp expected to bring in a host of fresh talent this summer to bolster his squad.

And according to The Mirror, Klopp has identified Batshuayi as a priority target this summer.

The 22-year-old has been in sensational form for the Ligue 1 outfit, netting 19 goals in all competitions for them this season.

His performances have seen him attract interest from West Ham, Tottenham and Juventus in recent months.

Batshuayi is contracted at Marseille until 2020 but the club are well aware they face a fight on their hands to keep hold of him this summer.

The Belgian is said to be rated at around £30million and Marseille are unlikely to consider offers below that fee.
