Rennes have rejected a £12m bid from Borussia Dortmund for Liverpool and Tottenham target Ousmane Dembele.

As talkSPORT told you last week, the winger has reportedly already agreed terms with the German club ahead of a summer move.

Dortmund are now trying to agree a fee with Rennes for Dembele, who is wanted by several sides in Europe after bagging 12 goals this season.

But, according to RMC, Dortmund have had their opening offer of £12m rejected.

Rennes believe the offer is far too low and are determined to hold out for a bid which exceeds £20m.

Dortmund's failure to agree a fee gives hope to Liverpool and Tottenham, who are still keen to sign Dembele.
