Roma hope to ward off Liverpool's interest in midfielder
Roma are ready to offer Miralem Pjanic a new contract in order to ward off interest from Chelsea and Liverpool.
The midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Italian capital this summer after spending five years there.
Chelsea and Liverpool are big fans of the 26-year-old, while Juventus are also keen on the Bosnian.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are ready to offer Pjanic a new contract to keep him at the club.
The former Lyon star has hit double figures for assists and goals this season and Roma are desperate for him to stay.
As a result they are ready to offer Pjanic a new deal, which would see his wages increase to a reported £80,000-a-week.
