Liverpool are reportedly on the brink of agreeing a £10.1million deal for Poland international Piotr Zielinski.

Express Sport understands Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign the midfielder this summer.

Zielinski, who is on loan at Empoli from Udinese, was this week pictured holding a Reds shirt.

Reports in Poland claim Zielinski could sign a contract and join Liverpool tomorrow.

Udine-based website Messaggero Veneto say Liverpool have so far offered £7m (9m euros).

However Udinese owner Gino Pozzo, who wants to cash in on Zielinski, is holding out for £10.1m (13m euros).

Should Zielinski arrive at Anfield, he will be Klopp's latest signing following confirmed deals for Serbian youngster Marko Grujic and Germany international Joel Matip.

The 21-year-old has 13 caps for Poland and has been included in their provisional squad for Euro 2016.
