Klopp plots double raid on Leicester City
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is lining up a double raid on Premier League champions Leicester this summer.
The Daily Mail revealed last week that Liverpool are confident of signing Foxes left-back Ben Chilwell, 19, when the transfer window reopens.
The Reds have set their sights on the England Under-20 international, valued at £3million.
And now the Daily Mirror claim Klopp has been impressed with Danny Drinkwater's contribution to Leicester’s title triumph and will look to bring him to Anfield.
The £14m-rated 26-year-old scored three goals and assisted eight this season, earning his first call-up to the England squad in the process.
Drinkwater would miss out on Champions League football if he decided on an Anfield switch, but could be open to joining a big name club with an eye on the future.
Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri has made no secret of his desire to keep his key players at the King Power Stadium this summer and is likely to resist any approach from Liverpool.
