Midfielder booked in for LFC medical after Euro 2016
Piotr Zielinski will reportedly undergo a medical at Liverpool after Euro 2016.
The Udinese midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield following his impressive displays.
Zielinksi is currently representing Poland in France, but according to Football Italia, he is booked in for a medical once the tournament finishes.
Liverpool are said to have made a £9.5million bid for his services earlier this month but are facing competition from Napoli.
The Reds have been tracking Zielinski during his loan spell at Empoli and Jurgen Klopp is understood to be a big fan of his.
And despite Napoli's growing interest in the 22-year-old, the club's president Aurelio De Laurentiis, admits Zielinski would prefer a move to Liverpool.
"The lad prefers Liverpool," said De Laurentiis.
"Clearly he's never been to Naples before and probably he's in love with The Beatles. If he doesn't want to come, then he won't come.
"If I were him, though, I would drop everything and run here."
Zielinski has only featured in one of Poland's group matches at Euro 2016 so far.
The midfielder will be hoping to continue his country's progress in the tournament when they take on Switzerland in the round of 16 on Saturday (2pm).
