Liverpool are ready to rekindle their interest in Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan, according to reports in his native Turkey.

The Reds have been linked with the talented midfielder in the past but are yet to make an offer to sign him.

However, according to Fanatik, Liverpool could be about to firm up their interest with a bid to land him in time for the new campaign.

The 21-year-old only arrived at Fenerbahce from Bursaspor last year and has started just nine league games for his new club since arriving.

But that has not put off Liverpool, who are also wary of interest from both Everton and Manchester United.

Fenerbahce are desperate to hold on to Tufan, who has four years left on his current deal and is rated at around £20m.

The box-to-box midfielder featured for Turkey at Euro 2016.
