Klopp to ring changes for EFL Cup tie with Spurs
Jurgen Klopp is set to ring the changes for Tuesday night's EFL Cup fourth round tie with Tottenham at Anfield.
Captain Jordan Henderson will serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season in Saturday's 2-1 win over West Brom at Anfield.
A number of other first-team regulars are also likely to get a breather as Klopp hands opportunities to some of those on the fringes of the squad.
Danny Ings, Marko Grujic, Ovie Ejaria, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kevin Stewart were all left out of the Liverpool Under-23s squad for Sunday's mini-derby with Everton as Klopp considers calling upon their services.
Ings, who has only made one senior appearance this season, trained with the first-team squad at Melwood on Sunday morning.
The former Burnley striker has had to be patient following his recovery from the cruciate ligament injury which ruled him out for most of last season.
But Ings has been in outstanding form for Michael Beale's second string and could feature against Spurs.
Lucas Leiva, Daniel Sturridge, Ragnar Klavan, Divock Origi and Alberto Moreno will also be among those hoping to get a chance to shine on Tuesday night.
