Liverpool eye Ipswich starlet Andre Dozzell
Liverpool remain keen on signing Ipswich teenager Andre Dozzell.
The 17-year-old son of former Ipswich and Spurs midfielder Jason, interested the Anfield giants last summer, but opted to stay on at Portman Road under boss Mick McCarthy.
However, the England U16 international has been restricted to just one first team outing for the Championship club this season — and even that saw him play just the first 45 minutes of their surprise EFL Cup defeat to fourth-tier Stevenage in August.
The Reds are now considering a £2million bid.
Like his father, Andre made a goal-scoring debut for Ipswich as a 16-year-old.
