Liverpool in discussions for Chelsea starlet
Liverpool are reportedly looking into the prospect of signing Chelsea forward Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer window.
Solanke has only made one first-team appearance for the Blues but the highly-rated 19-year-old is increasingly expected to move on from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The England U21 striker is out of contract at Chelsea in the summer and a number of top European clubs are weighing up moves for him.
According to the Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are in discussions over the possibility of landing the youngster ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
It’s understood Liverpool are very keen on Leipzig attacker Timo Werner but Solanke has emerged as a more realistic option for the Merseyside club.
Bundesliga outfit Leipzig have also held negotiations about a move for Solanke and Arsenal are also interested in the teenager.
