Liverpool 'approach' Leicester's Wilfred Ndidi
With Liverpool expected to be in the market for a midfielder this summer, the scramble to link players with a move to Anfield continues in earnest.
Even over in Guinea.
According to African journalist Alpha Balde - who has appeared on French media station RMC Sport, amongst others - the Reds have 'approached' Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Ndidi, a Nigerian international, moved to the Premier League in 2017 and has impressed during his time at the King Power Stadium.
Balde suggests, however, that despite the interest he reports, the Foxes would demand a huge fee for his services - and that could scupper the deal for the 21-year-old, who he claims would 'give his consent' to a move to Merseyside.
Ndidi moved to Leicester last January after establishing himself with Belgian club Genk.
Jorginho has also been previously linked with a move to bolster Jurgen Klopp's options in the no.6 position.
Expect a few more to be between now and the summer, too.
