Liverpool have zero interest in pursuing a deal for Fellaini
How do you improve one of the most exciting, dynamic attacking units in Europe?
Reports in France bizarrely claim that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes that the answer lies in a summer swoop for Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgium international is a free agent at the end of the season and someone somewhere is clearly trying to drum up interest with talk of the Reds 'preparing a three-year contract offer'.
Aside from the fact that Fellaini has played for Liverpool's two biggest rivals, it's hard to think of a midfielder less suited to Klopp's “full throttle” brand of football.
The fact is there's more chance of the Reds re-signing Christian Poulsen than swooping for Fellaini.
No player has made the move between Manchester United and Liverpool since Phil Chisnall back in 1964. Chisnall's place in the history books isn't under threat.
