Klopp makes decision on Lorenzo Insigne deal
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to sensationally swoop for Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne.
Liverpool know they require more stardust to reel in Manchester City next term.
They already have a formidable attack consisting of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
But Transfermarketweb say Klopp is surprisingly set to pursue Insigne instead.
The 27-year-old has spent his entire career at Napoli but, with Europe’s elite circling, may be on the move this summer.
The Italy international bagged 14 goals from 48 outings for the Serie A giants last term.
And his versatility could appeal to Liverpool.
Klopp has been tipped to pursue the forward in the past but now, out of the blue, he has supposedly changed his mind.
However, Napoli may need some convincing.
Transfermarketweb claim that if they have to sell one of their attackers, it would be Jose Callejon instead.
Insigne rejected Liverpool last year when he signed a new Napoli contract.
