Leipzig boss gives Liverpool hope over Timo Werner move
Julian Nagelsmann admits he and Leipzig are powerless if Timo Werner decides he wants to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old Germany international is one of the most sought-after strikers in European football after another stellar campaign in the Bundesliga with Leipzig in which he has racked up 25 goals and seven assists.
Liverpool are believed to be at the front of the queue for Werner’s signature and the forward has made no secret of his admiration for Jurgen Klopp’s side in recent months.
