Liverpool's hopes of signing Dayot Upamecano have received a major boost as the centre-back will reportedly leave RB Leipzig next summer.

Upamecano, 22, was heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League during the last transfer window, before eventually penning a new three-year deal at Red Bull Arena.

The France international is one of Europe's most promising centre-backs and he has featured in all but one of Leipzig's games this season, guiding them to fourth in the Bundesliga.
