Liverpool eyeing transfer move for Napoli star Nikola Maksimovic
Liverpool are scouring the transfer market for possible new additions at the back this month and are reportedly looking at Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic to boost their title chances.
Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, widely regarded as one of the finest centre-backs in Europe, has long been linked with a move to Anfield but the 29-year-old’s eye-watering price tag continues to put off potential suitors.
According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis told presenter Jim White that Koulibaly would not be going anywhere unless the Serie A outfit received an offer in excess of £100million.
