A piece of structural steel signed by a host of Liverpool Legends was lifted into the expanded Main Stand on Friday afternoon - and you can watch the moment in our free clip above now.

Construction workers attached the special section to a new roof rafter, before it was installed above the stand by two 600-tonne cranes.

Liverpool FC chief executive officer Ian Ayre, first-team manager Jürgen Klopp, and non-executive director Kenny Dalglish visited the Anfield site last week to add their signatures to the steel.

The group joined legends Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, Gary McAllister, Jamie Carragher, John Barnes, Ian St John, Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, Ian Callaghan and Roger Hunt to mark the occasion.

The 70-tonne rafter, autographed by the legends, was the 10th and final steel piece to be suspended beneath the truss. It will remain part of the roof for the life of the building.
