19 days to go: Latest time-lapse footage of Main Stand work
After 622 days of work, Liverpool’s brand new Main Stand will officially open in just 19 more – and our brilliant time-lapse video showcases the external redevelopment since the beginning of 2016.
The Reds will welcome Leicester City to Anfield for the first fixture in front of the new tribune on September 10.
The transformation since construction began in 2015 has been incredible and you can see fully just how the exterior face of Anfield has changed even just in the last eight-and-a-half months by clicking play on our free video above.
