The legendary Dutch maestro Johan Cruyff twice visited Anfield over the course of a storied career - once with Ajax and once with Barcelona.

As such, he knew all about the power of Liverpool's passionate support ahead of a trip to watch the Reds contest the Champions League final in 2005.

But he was still surprised by what he witnessed as AC Milan were overturned in incredible circumstances, as he stated after the match.

"I sat there watching the Liverpool fans and they sent shivers down my spine. A mass of 40,000 people became one force behind their team. That's something not many teams have. For that, I admire Liverpool more than anything."
