New images of Anfield retail store development
Liverpool FC have released new images of the development of the club's new flagship retail store.
The installation of around 220 tons of steel is complete and the framework of the store is now visible above the hoardings.
The new two-storey unit is situated on the corner of the Kop and the Main Stand. It marks another milestone in the regeneration of Anfield and forms part of Liverpool City Council’s plan to rebuild Walton Breck Road, where the club’s new store will stand.
It will offer fans a premium shopping experience with exclusive product ranges, and a specially designed first floor cafe.
The new store is set to open early in the 2017-18 season.
