Nathaniel Clyne remains sidelined with a muscle strain and is now scheduled to return to full team training during the upcoming camp in Germany.

The defender is with the squad in Hong Kong but will not be involved when Liverpool play their opening game of the tournament against Crystal Palace today.

Clyne is on course to re-join his teammates when the Reds travel to Germany later this month for a friendly with Hertha BSC and the Audi Cup.

Meanwhile, Alberto Moreno is fit again and available to feature in the meeting with Palace, which kicks off at 8.30pm local time (1.30pm BST).
