Wearing their 2017-18 away kit in a match for the first time, Jürgen Klopp's side took the lead through Sadio Mane with just seven minutes on the clock.
Mohamed Salah's fourth goal of pre-season doubled the advantage before the break, and the result was capped off by a sublime late lob from Daniel Sturridge.
