Liverpool U19s will meet Arsenal in the semi-finals of the prestigious Spax Cup in Germany on Monday.

Neil Critchley's talented side have produced some excellent displays to reach the last four of the tournament in Ennepetal and will now be hoping to reach the final.

The young Reds drew 2-2 with Schalke in their opening game, with Brooks Lennon and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the mark.

After a goalless draw with Brazilian outfit Atletico Mineiro they needed a victory over SV Hamburg to reach the semi-final.

The young Reds did not disappoint as they turned on the style with a brilliant performance to win 2-0 thanks to two goals from Toni Gomes.

Reflecting on the tournament so far, Critchley told Liverpoolfc.com: "The boys have been superb so far and hopefully we can produce another good performance against Arsenal.

"This is a fantastic tournament with some really good teams in it and it is a great experience for the boys."
