Henderson and Mignolet bring festive cheer to kids
Jordan Henderson and Simon Mignolet delighted youngsters when they paid a very special visit to the LFC Official Membership and LFC Foundation Christmas party for young Reds at Anfield on Tuesday afternoon.
Organised by LFC Official Membership and the Liverpool FC Foundation, the fantastic festive event was certainly an afternoon to remember for 75 junior fans.
As well as a visit from Santa himself with a Christmas gift for each child, club mascot Mighty Red also paid a special visit to join in the fun.
LFCTV’s Claire Rourke also came along to introduce the very special surprise of Henderson and Mignolet, who posed for pictures and signed autographs for the children.
The duo also helped with the raffle which gave away some fantastic prizes including match tickets, a signed football and a signed shirt.
One lucky youngster also won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a mascot at a forthcoming first-team game at Anfield, courtesy of MBNA.
