With Premier League football currently suspended, each weekend we are digging into the archives and picking out footage of memorable encounters from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s that you may not have seen before.
The latest instalment features a quartet of First Division clashes more than worthy of another look – and you can tune in at 10.30pm.

Stoke City (H) – April 17, 1976
Easter Saturday 1976. ‘Super sub’ David Fairclough had only recently shot to prominence and the first successful title charge of Bob Paisley’s managerial reign was about to kick in as this eight-goal thriller unfolds at Anfield.
Arsenal (A) – September 10, 1983
This was a game billed as a battle between two Scottish strikers – Kenny Dalglish and Charlie Nicholas. The King and the apparent heir to his throne. But which former Celtic star would come out on top at a sun-drenched Highbury?
Newcastle United (H) – April 20, 1985
The title may have been slipping from Liverpool’s grasp in the spring of 1985 but, with another European Cup final on the horizon, Joe Fagan’s Reds still had plenty to play for against a Peter Beardsley-inspired Magpies side.
Sunderland (A) – November 30, 1980
The orange ball was out at a snow-covered Roker Park as Liverpool, sporting an unfamiliar all-yellow away strip, produced one of their best performances of a season that saw them crowned European champions.
