Five LFC first-team stars joined local pupils at a careers event at Anfield on Thursday.
Simon Mignolet, Joel Matip, Divock Origi, Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno took time out to meet with youngsters from three Anfield high schools at the networking session run by Red Neighbours.
36 Year 12 students from Alsop High School, Academy of Saint Francis of Assisi and Notre Dame Catholic College attended the careers event, where LFC staff from various departments were also on hand to offer their advice.
Gayle Gall, careers co-ordinator at Notre Dame Catholic College, said: "These events allow our students to learn more about potential career paths and how to get where they want to be.
"Having the chance to sit down with LFC staff, ask questions and gain valuable advice really benefits the pupils and many of them come away extremely excited for their future beyond high school.
"The presence of the first-team players only adds to that excitement and inspires the pupils to work even harder to reach their goals.
"We’re very grateful to Red Neighbours for providing these opportunities and for everything they do for young people in the local area."
Red Neighbours' career speed networking events are designed allow local pupils to learn about the education history and career paths of club employees, discover the many different opportunities available within football, and receive guidance on how to be successful in their chosen occupation.
Mignolet said: "Working hard in school is so important, no matter what profession you want to go into, so we’re really happy to come and meet the pupils and hopefully give them a bit of inspiration to do that.
"As players, we always enjoy getting to meet our young fans and making a difference in the local community.
"We’re really proud to be involved in events like these and we hope the kids can take something away which will help them be successful in the future."
