Red Neighbours bring Christmas cheer to Royal Liverpool Hospital
Red Neighbours and a group of LFC staff volunteers visited the Royal Liverpool Hospital last week to help spread some Christmas cheer.
They were joined by patients, nurses, doctors and surgeons for a three-course Christmas meal in the hospital canteen, before enjoying musical entertainment from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School choir and a Buddy Holly tribute act.
Patients also had the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the European Cup, before the afternoon finished with a collective sing-a-long led by LFC's club chaplain, Bill Bygroves.
The visit highlights Red Neighbours' commitment to four key areas of need in the local area: food poverty and education; support for the elderly community; encouraging a physically active community; and creating memorable experiences for young people.
