Missing Men: Burnley 2009
Yossi Benayoun scored a hat-trick as Liverpool beat Premier League new boys Burnley 4-0 at Anfield in September 2009, but can you name the rest of the starting XI from that day?
Rafael Benitez's Reds went into the game after two wins and two defeats in their opening four league games of the season - but there were to be no slip-ups against the Clarets, with Benayoun weaving his way through the visitors’ defence to fire them in front after 27 minutes at Anfield.
The Israel international had a hand in the second goal as Dirk Kuyt prodded in his half-saved shot and then Benayoun put the Reds in complete control on the hour - tapping in to make it 3-0 after being teed up by Steven Gerrard.
Reds skipper Gerrard was denied a goal himself by a series of saves from Brian Jensen and also saw an effort strike the woodwork.
Then, with eight minutes to go, Benayoun completed the scoring when he beat the offside trap and kept his nerve to slot past Jensen.
And in doing so, he became the first ever Liverpool player to score hat-tricks in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
Benayoun took the match ball, but who else made up the starting XI for the victory over Burnley? Can you fill in the Missing Men below?
