Dirk Kuyt could join an elite band of Dutchmen against Swansea City on Saturday.

For details of this and other great facts, read our statistical guide courtesy of Ged Rea:

Head to head (league only):
At Anfield: Liverpool 8 wins, Swansea 0 wins, 2 draws.
Overall: Liverpool 10 wins, Swansea 6 wins, 4 draws.

The clubs last met in the league in 1982-83 when Liverpool won both games by a 3-0 scoreline. At Anfield Ian Rush, Sammy Lee and David Fairclough scored in the second half.

Liverpool have scored 48 goals against Swansea in 15 meetings here in all competitions and have conceded just seven.

The Reds and the Swans last met at Anfield in 1990, with Liverpool winning 8-0 in a FA Cup third round replay, with Ian Rush scoring a hat-trick.

The only other hat-trick scored by a Liverpool player against the visitors came in November 1961 when Roger Hunt hit three in a 5-0 league win at Anfield.

That hat-trick came in the Reds' biggest ever league victory against the Swans.

Liverpool have never failed to score against Swansea at Anfield in the 15 meetings here.

The last game Liverpool ever played in Division Two came against Swansea in May 1962 with the Welshmen winning 4-2 at the Vetch Field. In that game Roger Hunt netted his 41st league goal of the season - still a club record.

Craig Bellamy played twice for Cardiff against Swansea in the Championship last season, winning one and losing one - even managing to fire the only goal of the game in the meeting at Swansea.

Liverpool's next goal will be their 50th scored in the Barclays Premier League since Kenny Dalglish returned as manager in January.

If the Reds avoid defeat they will equal their longest unbeaten run since Kenny returned in January (8 games).

Pepe Reina's next clean sheet will be his 150th for the club in all competitions, making him only the third Reds goalkeeper to achieve the feat following Ray Clemence and Bruce Grobbelaar.

He will make his 163rd consecutive league appearance for the club - only Phil Neal, Chris Lawler, Ray Clemence and Bruce Grobbelaar have made more.

Dirk Kuyt's next league goal will see him become the fifth Dutchman to score 50 goals in the Barclays Premier League - following Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Dennis Bergkamp and Robin van Persie.

In the last 109 league games at Anfield in which the Reds have scored the first goal of the game they have lost only once - to Arsenal in December 2009. In that time they've won 91 and drawn 17.

Swansea have scored five times in their 10 league visits to Anfield.

The Swans have won once in their 15 visits to Anfield in all competitions. In 1964 they beat the Reds 2-1 in a FA Cup quarter-final tie. At the time Swansea were in Division Two.

They have only scored more than one goal in a league game at Anfield once - in a 2-2 draw in October 1981 having taken a two-goal lead through Leighton James (penalty) and Bob Latchford.

Swansea have kept two clean sheets in all 20 league meetings between the sides.

In Swansea's last season in the top-flight (1982-83) former Reds Ray Kennedy, Colin Irwin and Max Thompson were part of the squad.

Last season Swansea finished third in the Championship and were promoted via the play-offs.

They defeated Nottingham Forest in the play-off semi-final before beating Reading 4-2 in the final.

Scott Sinclair hit only the second Wembley play-off final hat-trick which included two penalties.

Sinclair hit 27 goals in all competitions last season including 19 in the league.

The Swans will be the 44th different team to face Liverpool in the Barclays Premier League.

Should Swansea win here they will become the 51st visiting team to win at Anfield in league football.

They have won one point from a possible 15 on the road this season and have conceded 14 goals in the process.

They drew 2-2 at Wolves in their last away game, though they were two goals up with just six minutes to play.

Swansea have already visited Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Earlier this season Swansea became only the sixth different club to keep a clean sheet in the opening four home games of a Premier League campaign and the first promoted club to achieve the feat.

Michel Vorm played on this ground for Utrecht in last season's Europa League and kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw.

Last Saturday Danny Graham became the 30th player in Premier League history to score a goal and an own goal in the same match. The Swans defeated Bolton 3-1.

Garry Monk could make his 200th league appearance for the Swans. He has played in all four divisions with the club, along with Alan Tate and Leon Britton.

Britton had a 100 per cent pass completion rate in the game with Bolton last weekend. It was the most passes by a player with 100 per cent accuracy in the last six Barclays Premier League campaigns.

Twenty five per cent of Swansea's Barclays Premier League goals this season have come from the penalty spot - 3 out of 12.

Only Arsenal (17) have conceded more Premier League goals away from home than Swansea (14).

The Swans, though, have conceded less at home (1) than any other top-flight team.

Since the War, two former Liverpool players have managed Swansea - John Toshack and Jan Molby.

Saturday's referee Phil Dowd kept charge of Swansea's play-off final win over Reading at Wembley last season.
