Conor Coady was on target as Liverpool Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw at Fulham in their final league match of 2011.

The highly-rated midfielder netted the opener with a second-half spot-kick following an entertaining first period in which both sides played some neat, attacking football.

However, Rodolfo Borrell's team were pegged back late in the game and ultimately had to settle for a share of the spoils.

Borrell told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It was a very good game with two sides looking to play football the right way.

"It was a shame we couldn't take all three points but I am satisfied with our performance overall."
