Vote: LFC's best PL left-back
After the conclusion of the Premier League's 20th season, Liverpoolfc.tv is asking fans to name the players that would make up their dream team of the last two decades.
The Reds have played in 772 matches since the formation of the division back in 1992 and produced some of the competition's most spectacular matches and outstanding performers.
Today we continue with defenders - and we want you to decide who has been our best left-back of the last 20 years.
Jose Enrique (35 league apps 2011 - )
Despite arriving just last summer, Enrique is already seen by many as the best left-back we've had at Anfield for years following a series of cracking displays in the first half of 2011-12.
Fabio Aurelio (87 league apps 2006 - )
Signed by Rafael Benitez on a free-transfer from Valencia in 2006, the Brazilian defender quickly displayed his outstanding technical ability and free-kick prowess. None more so than when he netted a stunning free-kick in the 4-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in March 2009. Only injuries have prevented him from making more appearances.
John Arne Riise (243 league apps 2001-08)
Robust full-back John Arne Riise quickly established himself as a fans' favourite at Anfield when he netted stunning goals against Everton and Manchester United in the early stages of his Reds career after signing from Monaco in 2001. A solid performer, Riise was mainstay of both Gerard Houllier and Rafael Benitez's teams before joining Roma in 2008.
Stephen Warnock (40 league apps 2004-07)
No-nonsense local lad Stephen Warnock progressed through Liverpool's Academy ranks to make his mark on the first-team under Rafael Benitez. He overcame two broken legs to make the grade.
Stig Inge Bjornebye (139 league apps 1992-99)
Graeme Souness signed Bjornebye after he scored the winning goal in a Norwegian Cup final in 1992. The full-back's Anfield career hit peak form during 1996-97, a season in which he raced down the flanks to deliver pin-point passes and provide plenty of goals for Fowler and Collymore.
