Barnes joins God in Thailand
Former Liverpool captain John Barnes last night joined up with Robbie Fowler in Bangkok to attend the launch party of the 2012 EPL Masters Football Thailand tournament.
The gala cocktails launch party was hosted by Liverpool's main sponsor Standard Chartered at the Water Library in Thong Lor and saw Barnes, who had just flown into the country, link up with some of his former teammates who had arrived in Thailand earlier in the day.
Barnes will be joined in the Liverpool team for the tournament on Sunday by Fowler, Steve Harkness, Phil Babb, Mark Walters, Stephane Henchoz, Julian Dicks and Jimmy Carter.
Also at the launch party last night were members of the EPL All Stars team including Faustino Asprilla, Regi Blinker, Sasa Illic and Nicky Summerbee, while representing Manchester United were former Old Trafford stars Andy Cole, David May and Viv Anderson amongst others.
