Most Exciting PL Games: 57
Entering the countdown at Number 57 in Liverpool's 100 Most Exciting PL Games is a brilliant New Year's Day comeback from 1996.
LFC's Most Exciting PL Games No.57: January 1, 1996. Liverpool 4-2 Nottingham Forest.
Roy Evans' Liverpool kept their title hopes alive after coming back from 2-0 down to beat Nottingham Forest 4-2 at Anfield.
The Reds appeared to have a New Year's Day hangover after goals from Steve Stone and Ian Woan put the visitors in the asendancy after only 18 minutes.
However, with the partnership between Robbie Fowler and Forest old boy Stan Collymore flourishing, the pair soon had the Kop singing again.
Two goals from Fowler drew the Reds level before half-time and Collymore made it 3-2. An own goal from Colin Cooper sealed the three points four minutes from time.
Each weeknight during the summer we'll reveal four more from our countdown from 6pm BST on LFC TV. 11-minute highlights will then be available on LFC TV Online the following morning. LFC TV is available FREE to view on SKY channel 434 and Virgin channel 544 (as part of the XL pack).
