Most Exciting PL Games: 35
At No.35 in Liverpool's 100 Most Exciting PL Games is our first ever win at the Emirates.
LFC's Most Exciting PL Games No.35: August 20, 2011. Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool.
Liverpool produced a superb away display to beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium for the first time.
After being held to a frustrating opening day 1-1 draw by Sunderland at Anfield, Kenny Dalglish's side deservedly recorded their first Barclays Premier League win of the season.
Luis Suarez and Raul Meireles were both left on the bench but the pair were to have a major impact on this game when they entered the field in a double change on 71 minutes, replacing Andy Carroll and Dirk Kuyt.
The Gunners had Emmanuel Frimpong sent-off for two bookable offences and the Reds went in front on 78 minutes with a bizarre own goal. Ignasi Miquel's clearance ricocheted off Aaron Ramsey and wrong-footed the goalkeeper.
Suarez then made sure of the points in the last minute when he netted from close range after a superb link-up between Meireles and Lucas.
