The evening game looked as though it was heading for a draw which would dent Liverpool's hopes of keeping the pressure on Manchester United in the race for the title.

But with minutes of normal time remaining, Fabio Aurelio whipped a pin-point pass into the heart of the Chelsea penalty area, Fernando Torres raced onto it and guided the ball past Petr Cech for 1-0.

The Kop shook to its foundations as El Nino raced across the Anfield turf and slid towards the touchline on his knees, arms folded in celebration.

When Yossi Benayoun slid a pass into Torres moments later, the Spaniard was left with a tap-in to grab his second and seal a truly memorable win for Rafael Benitez's men.

Each weeknight during the summer we'll reveal four more from our countdown from 6pm BST on LFC TV. 11-minute highlights will then be available on LFC TV Online the following morning. LFC TV is available FREE to view on SKY channel 434 and Virgin channel 544 (as part of the XL pack).
