Liverpool Football Club's new publishing partner ProgrammeMaster is looking for an editor to lead production of the 2012-13 matchday programme and club magazine.

This is a rare opportunity to head up these prestigious titles, based in the heart of the city on Chapel Street.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced editor in sport - newspapers or magazines - or someone looking to make their final career step who is used to leading a team of writers and designers, assisting in all aspects of production, from flat plan to print.

Experienced candidates should be passionate about football, have a good knowledge of print media with an interest in digital media, great writing skills, attention to detail, a solid proofing eye, enjoying working as part of a team and won't be afraid of working long hours on deadline.

This is a challenging and fascinating role for someone with exceptional organisational skills.

The editor will need a thorough understanding of Indesign, be a strong sub editor and be comfortable conducting interviewing Liverpool players and leading the editorial message of both publications.

If you live in Liverpool or are willing to relocate, this is a fantastic opportunity which doesn't come up often.

Salary depending on experience.

Only candidates selected for interview will be contacted. No agencies please.
