U18s suffer Chelsea defeat
There was disappointment for Liverpool U18s on Saturday morning when Chelsea came back from a goal down to win 2-1 in London.
Steve Cooper's side played some excellent football at times and took the lead through a brilliant solo goal from Daniel Trickett-Smith.
However, they couldn't hold onto the lead against a strong side and Chelsea came back to win 2-1.
Cooper told Liverpoolfc.com: "I have no complaints about the way we approached the game and we were a little bit unlucky to be honest.
"Dan produced a bit of magic to give us the lead but we are kicking ourselves in the foot at the moment with some of our defending.
"Chelsea are a very strong side but we were resilient and created chances, but it was just frustrating to lose the game."
