In a determined effort to improve ticketing procedures, Liverpool Football Club has spent the past 12 months working directly with our Supporters' Committee to introduce changes that will benefit all fans wanting to attend games, both home and away.

We have invested heavily in the ticketing infrastructure to ensure the best possible service at all times, including new servers and improved software platforms.

Here are some other positive changes that are already in effect or will be rolled out over the coming months:

1. Integrated season ticket finance option within the online ticket system to give an on-the-spot decision for season ticket holders.

2. Significant changes to the Auto Cup Ticket scheme, including: published guide prices for home cup games; the option to enrol into the Auto Cup Ticket scheme outside of the season ticket renewal period including an enrolment period for season ticket holders who want to sit in alternative seats; an enrolment period for members (subject to availability) allowing them to do the same.

3. Streamlined Auto Cup Ticket scheme payment process so supporters will have a better idea of when payments will be taken from their accounts.

4. The ability to buy adult/child concessions online for home and away games.

5. The ability to purchase away travel coach tickets online.

6. The introduction of a full online queuing system providing greater transparency to supporters during the sales process.

7. The introduction of a 'Save credit card for re-use' option, which will allow supporters to save the payment card used for all future purchases.

8. Extended car parking for over 65s.

9. Introducing a 'How to buy tickets' section to assist in the purchasing of tickets for new and existing fans.

10. Introducing a 'My favourite seat' option.

11. Overhauling the disabled season ticket waiting list. The club is currently writing to everyone they have details for and requesting that applicants update their address and contact details and provided information about their disability and requirements for attending a match. Once the club has all of the relevant information about each supporter we will be able to ensure that we can accommodate specific requirements when making an offer of a season ticket. The list will be organised into two distinct lists: one for supporters who are wheelchair-users and one for supporters who are not wheelchair-users.

Whilst we hope the introduction of these changes will be seen as a positive move by fans, there are still a number of areas where we are currently working with the LFC Supporters' Committee to provide real benefit, and we would encourage all fans to get in touch with their Supporters' Committee representatives (listed below) with ideas and feedback.
