Ibe in line for England
Jordan Ibe could make his first appearance for an England team after being named in the U18s squad for their international against Italy on Wednesday in Mansfield.
The 16-year-old, who joined the Reds in 2011, had never previously been selected for an England squad but was included in Noel Blake's 18-strong side for the friendly.
Should he feature at The One Call Stadium, Ibe would further continue his career progress, which recently saw him chosen by Brendan Rodgers to join the club's pre-season tour of North America.
