Club ambassador Ian Rush is giving Liverpool fans the opportunity to see his remarkable collection of keepsakes from his illustrious career.

The official Ian Rush Digital scrAppbook takes fans into the private world of one of football's most recognisable figures and the man who scored more goals for the Reds than any other.

From his childhood dreams, first pair of boots, schoolboy awards and certificates to European Cup and league championship medals, fans will get the chance to explore, for the first time, Rushie's incredible personal collection of football memorabilia.

"It's something a bit different," he explained. "To be the first footballer to have this kind of thing is a great honour, because having seen the finished article it really is something very impressive."

The Digital scrAppbook takes the principles of a traditional scrapbook and brings it to life in a dynamic, interactive format for the iPad.

Featuring personal video and audio of Rushie talking through his favourite belongings, his scrAppbook also allows fans the experience of touching the medals to bring the stories behind them to life.

"Working with the guys to create it, it brought back some really happy memories for me," said Rush. "My father started a scrapbook when I was about 10 or 11 playing for Deeside Primary School, and there were a lot of great cuttings and memories in there.

"When I was going through all the shirts, the boots and the medals, it did bring a smile to my face. Once they got me talking them through them all, I could have been there all day to be honest."
