LFC to take stand against homophobia
Liverpool FC is taking a stand against homophobia this weekend.
The club will stage a match at the Academy to demonstrate its stance against homophobia and prejudice against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in football.
The match will be a Gay Football Supporters' Network (GFSN) league match between Mersey Marauders and Wolverhampton Harts.
This promises to be a great occasion showcasing the work the club is doing in the area of equality and diversity.
Kick-off on Saturday is at 4.45pm GMT at the Kirkby Academy.
