Liverpool will have to break a goalless run if they are to beat Swansea City on Sunday, while full-back Glen Johnson could reach a career landmark against the Welsh side – for all of the pre-match stats you could possibly need, check out Ged Rea's guide.

Liverpool have not scored against Swansea in the Barclays Premier League in three previous meetings.

The Reds have not beaten Swansea in the last four meetings in league and cup, scoring just once.

After no goalless draws in the first 20 league meetings there have now been two in the last three.

The 0-0 scoreline last season was the first time the Reds had ever failed to score at home against the Swans and it was the first time since February 1955 that they had failed to score more than once in a home league game against them.

At Anfield Liverpool are unbeaten in the 11 league meetings, winning eight and drawing three. They have kept seven clean sheets.

The only league hat-trick scored by a Liverpool player against Sunday's opponents came in November 1961 when Roger Hunt hit three in a 5-0 league win at Anfield. That came in the Reds' biggest ever league victory against the Swans.

Brendan Rodgers was in charge of Swansea 84 times in the league, winning 36 of them - and 96 times in all competitions, with 43 wins.

Joe Allen played 127 league games for Swansea, scoring seven times.

Liverpool have scored 49 goals against Swansea in 17 meetings here in all competitions - their next will bring up a half century.

Luis Suarez has scored 17 league goals this season. The last Reds player to reach 20 in a season was Fernando Torres (scored 24) in 2007-08.

Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have scored six goals between them in the 365 minutes they have been together on the pitch.

A win on Sunday will see the Reds better their home league wins total for the whole of last season (six in 2011-12).

Johnson could play the 250th game of his league career having previously appeared for West Ham, Millwall, Chelsea and Portsmouth.

Chico Flores and Jonathan de Guzman each scored their first Swansea goal on this ground in the League Cup win back in October.

The Swans have kept three successive league clean sheets against Liverpool. Only six teams have ever gone four or more in a row without the Reds scoring - Sunderland (1897-1900), Bolton (1947-48), Tottenham (1969-71), Everton (1974-75), Middlesbrough (1999-2001) and Manchester United (2005-08).

They have conceded only 10 league goals on the road this season - the lowest in the Premier League. In their last 10 away league games they have let in only six and not since September, at Stoke, have they conceded more than once in an away game.

They have lost just one of their last nine league games - a 1-0 defeat at West Ham earlier this month with Andy Carroll scoring the goal.

Michu has scored 15 league goals this season. He is third on the leading scorer list behind Robin van Persie (19) and Luis Suarez (17).

The Swans are the only team in the top flight not to be awarded a penalty in any game this season.

Should Swansea win here they will become the 53rd visiting team to win at Anfield in league football and the 29th to do it in the Premier League.
