Conor Coady, Jon Flanagan and Jack Robinson have been named in England's provisional 35-man squad for the forthcoming FIFA U20 World Cup.

The Liverpool trio are in the running to travel to the tournament which kicks off in Turkey on June 21.

England have been drawn in Group E alongside Iraq, Chile and Egypt.

The Young Lions' boss Peter Taylor will narrow the group from 35 to 21 players and announce the official squad on Friday, June 7.

Coady, who made his Premier League debut for Liverpool against Fulham on Sunday, skippered England when they won the European U17 Championship in 2010.

"There are players [in the provisional squad] who have a lot of experience playing with Premier League teams," said Taylor.

"I am convinced they will have a great experience from this tournament."
