Ahead of the Brazilian's 21st birthday on Wednesday, we've unearthed some footage which shows that Philippe Coutinho was destined for professional football from the age of 10.
On his personal YouTube channel, the Reds' No.10 has shared a series of videos from his formative years as a Futsal player striving to reach the upper echelons of the world game.
Since joining the club in January from Inter Milan, Kopites have been thrilled by Coutinho's passing vision, finishing quality and work ethic - attributes you can already see in the younger version.
The video below features Coutinho - wearing No.7 in his early years - providing an exhibition of his skills during a number of different matches in his native country.
