A special celebratory event was held for participants of the Liverpool FC Foundation's Respect 4 All centres at Anfield last Friday.

Children and adults who attend the centres on a weekly basis were awarded medals and certificates in acknowledgement of their participation over the past season.

The Foundation has two Respect 4 All centres, in Aigburth and Wirral, which deliver free impairment-specific coaching to young people and adults with complex additional needs.

The centres provide opportunities to play football to those who are visually impaired, physically disabled, have severe learning difficulties or are wheelchair users - and the celebration was organised to mark the achievements of the past year.

Respect 4 All manager, Ryan Moignard, said: "Every year this is a great event and a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the effort and participation of the young people and adults over the season.

"Respect 4 All creates opportunities for people who previously haven't been involved in sport and the families who attend are very supportive. We are honoured to work with such inspirational people."

The Liverpool FC Foundation are also holding a free summer camp for young people and adults with complex additional needs. For further information about the centres or the summer camp, please contact lfcfoundation@liverpoolfc.com.
