Following his switch to Valencia from Lyon at the beginning of the 2012-13 season, Cissokho represented Los Che on 32 occasions in all competitions - netting two goals against Celta Vigo and Valladolid in the process. The full-back was victorious in nearly half of those appearances, winning 14 matches and keeping 11 clean-sheets along the way.
