Classic LFCCTV: Macca v Bolton '95
Our latest Classic LFCCTV feature travels back 18 years to the day when Steve McManaman single-handedly won the League Cup for Liverpool at Wembley.
Roy Evans' Reds secured a fifth success for the club in the competition, then under the guise of the Coca-Cola Cup, with a 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers in April 1995.
McManaman produced a swashbuckling performance on the day, twisting between and beyond the Bolton defence to score twice en route to collecting the man of the match award.
