Daniel Sturridge has been called back into the England squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland.

Injury prevented the striker from joining the Three Lions in their previous two qualifiying fixtures; however, today Roy Hogdson included the Liverpool man in his 23-man set-up.

Captain Steven Gerrard is in the selection for the clashes with Montenegro on Friday, October 11 and Poland on Tuesday, October 15. Both games will be held at Wembley.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling and Jack Robinson have been named in Gareth Southgate's squad for the UEFA European U21 championship qualifying double-header against San Marino and Lithuania.

England U21 captain Andre Wisdom will start a four-game ban after his red card against Finland.
